Chamomile Hot Toddy

This is the prettiest, coziest cocktail. Filled with all sorts of goodies, it's warming and nurturing...cozy up, sip on this delectable beverage, and read a classic novel...doesn't that sound lovely? Oh by the way, speaking of classic novels, I'm reading Little Women again...have you read any favorites recently?Chamomile Hot ToddyFor each toddyIngredients:1 tablespoon honey1/2 cup hot water2 ounces whiskey1 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon loose dried organic chamomile flowers in a tea satchel or you can simply use a bag of chamomile teaFresh organic chamomile flowers for garnishDirections:Make chamomile tea using the hot water and dried chamomile flowers in a tea satchel. After about 5 minutes, remove the satchel. Add honey, lemon juice, and whiskey. Stir. Sprinkle with fresh chamomile flowers. Wasn't that easy? Cheers!Recipe + Photo by Cassie Winslow
