Plum + Strawberry Tarte
This tarte is summer wrapped in a pie crust. Juicy black plums and perfectly ripened strawberries hardly require sweetening...yet a touch of golden syrup adds some butterscotchy goodness to really make this tarte extra tasty...You can use a store bought crust or find my recipe here...Happy baking!Simply toss 1 cup strawberries and 8 medium-sized plums (halved + pitted) with 3 tablespoons of golden syrup. Pour into pie crust. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour. (You may need to cover if the crust browns quickly so keep an eye on it). Glaze with apricot jam.
